Polifarma has won first place in the category of Nutraceuticals during the third edition of the ‘Excellence of Scientific Information and Focus on the Patient’ awards, promoted by the Medical-Scientific Communication Observatory (OCMS) under the sponsorship of FNMOCeO.
The purpose of the event, which main theme is ‘The health of citizens’, is to promote scientific information projects that focus on the patient by highlighting and appreciating the concrete benefits that derive from the therapeutic proposal. Patients’ health must be the true and main goal of Doctors and Companies, but it is sometimes disregarded or undervalued when compared to the intrinsic characteristics of the products. For this reason, it is important to hold events that redefine the primary purpose of drugs, nutraceuticals, and devices, rewarding excellence across all segments.
To ensure this holistic vision, the excellence level was determined through a selection process that involved a significant number of doctors, who had to identify innovative and ethical projects strongly oriented towards improving the patients’ quality of life.
Polifarma emerged among several finalist projects winning the Special Prize for Excellence in Scientific Information in the category of nutraceuticals, which was awarded by a jury of health experts (doctors, coordinators, and researchers). At the award ceremony, which was held on June 20th at the Palazzo Santa Chiara in Rome, Andrea Bracci, Polifarma Chief Executive Officer, stressed that this award ‘represents a great recognition for our work that derives not only from the quality of the content of t he project, but also from the passion of all colleagues involved, who are the real added value of Polifarma’.
