Recently, we attended the ‘AboutPharma Digital Awards’, as usual. This event annually awards the most innovative digital projects in support of patients, doctors, pharmacists, health planners, and industries in the sector, at the service of an increasingly technological, innovative, and sustainable health system. The AboutPharma Awards are intended for life sciences industries, public and private entities, scientific societies, patient associations, and start-ups, which during the year have stood out in digital activities.

This year, for the first time, Polifarma attended the Digital Awards, submitting a Digital Transformation Project in the category reserved for Life Sciences Industries: Company’s Team Digital Engagement, along with other 167 candidate projects, and ranked third in the category.

The main and strategic objective of Polifarma’s Digital Transformation Project was to make the Company evolve into a Smart Pharma Company, in terms of culture, solutions and strategies, to seize greater opportunities for growth, development and improvement, arising from the application of new technologies and digital tools, and do so while maintaining the company’s values, which have given the Company credibility and its positioning in the Italian market for almost 100 years.

To achieve this goal, several milestones have been established: The definition of an internal board dedicated to digitalisation, an intense continuous digital training programme for all personnel, and the integration of each business project with digital actions.

The creation of an integrated digital ecosystem, designed ad hoc for our business, and managed directly by a Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives (who have evolved into a territory managers), has enabled all players involved in the project to perceive its value.

For Polifarma, this is not only an important milestone reached with pride and awareness, but the confirmation of our commitment to digital values and digital health.
